We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions for customer projects and accounts. This role involves working closely with customers to plan, configure, and diagnose Cisco products, ensuring the integration and implementation of tools and systems to meet business outcomes. You will drive technology transitions, influence solution architectures, and support presales activities by translating business requirements into solution designs.  

•  Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions for customer engagements.
• Work closely with customers to plan, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco's suite of products, services, and solutions to accelerate business outcomes.
• Assist with the integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for customers.
• Support presales efforts by translating business needs into comprehensive solution designs.
• Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve complex issues and validate compatibility.
• Develop and deliver customer-facing materials, including documentation, portals, and knowledge transfer resources.
• Align technical deliverables with customer business objectives.
• Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures and services.
• Adhere to company policies, processes, and relevant tools to support the goals and strategies of the Professional Services team.

•  Collaborate with customers and internal/external resources, such as Cisco account teams and partners, to deploy and optimize Cisco services and solutions.
• Take ownership of task and project implementation for assigned customer engagements.
• Capture and contribute new methodologies and techniques used in customer delivery, sharing lessons learned with the broader team.
• Create and review key project deliverables, such as design recommendations, high-level designs, low-level designs, and change management plans.
• Build and leverage test environments to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Use software skills and tools to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco products, contributing to the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g., scripts, digital signatures).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for problem resolution in assigned customer engagements, ensuring the swift and effective resolution of major customer issues across a range of technologies.

•  Collaborate with other Consulting Engineers in relevant technology domains to ensure optimal resource use and meet customer needs.
• Interact with individual contributors, managers, and customers.
• Provide input to sales teams regarding technology solutions for customers.
• Work with a team of innovative employees to perform test and validation activities according to set standards.
• Lead discussions to gather validation requirements and document detailed test plans, including test cases.
• Design, build, configure, and validate test bed topologies based on requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them effectively.
• Compile and present detailed client reports for test results.

• Work on moderately complex problems, considering several alternative solutions before confirming the best course of action. 

•  Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications or a related field (BSc/BE/BTech), plus 7-9 years of relevant experience.
• CCNP-level knowledge is required, with a preference for Data Center (DC) or Service Provider (SP) expertise.
• Testing and validation experience is a plus.
• Strong passion for scripting to build automated test cases and reporting (Python experience preferred).
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile test delivery methodologies.
• Strong customer-facing skills.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of technologies such as:
• Security (Access control, Posture, Encryption, Cyber, DDoS)
• Cisco SDN technologies (NFV, ACI, SDA, SD-WAN)
• Scripting (Python)
• Test tools (Ixia, Spirent)

•  CCNP is required, CCIE is highly desirable.
